What is a Sentence? (वाक्य क्या है?)

Definition:- A group of words, which makes a complete sense is called a sentence.
(शब्दों का एक समूह, जो पूर्ण अर्थ बनाता है, एक वाक्य कहलाता है।)
We use language to exchange messages with others. Every language provides the usage of a collection of words to communicate. Such a collection of words that communicate a complete message is known as a sentence.
(संदेश के आदान प्रदान के लिये भाषा का उपयोग किया जाता है. हर भाषा में बोलने अथवा लिखने के लिए शब्दों के समूहों का प्रयोग किया जाता है. ऐसे शब्दों के समूह जिनके भाव पूरे हों को हम sentence (वाक्य) कहते हैं.)
The Subject and Object in a Sentence: (Every Sentence has a Subject and an Object.)
The doer is the person or object who performs some Work or is related to work(कर्म). The doer of the sentence is related to the subject of the sentence. The subject can be a noun or a pronoun.
(कर्ता वह व्यक्ति अथवा वस्तु है जो कुछ कर्म करता है या कर्म से संबंधित होत है। कर्ता का गेहरा संबंध वाक्य के विषय से होता है। कर्ता संज्ञा या सर्वनाम हो सकता है।)
An object is a person or object that is affected by the action verb. The verb basically comes before the object.
(Object वह व्यक्ति अथवा वस्तु है जो क्रिया क्रिया से प्रभावित होता है। क्रिया मूल रूप से वस्तु के पेहले आती है।)
Examples:-
1. Ram is playing football (राम- Subject, फुटबॉल- Object, खेल- Verb, रहा है- Tense.)
2. Siya is so sweet (सिया कितनी प्यारी है।)
Types of Sentences (वाक्य के प्रकार)
1. By Construction: On construction, the sentence in Hindi are classified into four types as follow:-
a) Simple Sentence (सरल वाक्य)
b) Compound Sentence (संयुक्तवाक्य)
c) Complex Sentence (मिश्रितवाक्य)
d) Compound-Complex Sentence ( संयुक्तवाक्य-मिश्रितवाक्य)
