4. Resolute:- ('रेज़लुट्) adjective.
In English:- having or showing strong determination.
In Hindi:- दृढ़, अटल, दृढ़निश्चयी.
Synonyms:- determined, unyielding, decisive, firm, purposeful, headstrong, etc.
Antonyms:- undetermined, indecisive, irresolute, etc.
Example:- She entered the room with resolute steps.
Example:- You look like miniature version of your father.
(Verb) (Used about a contract or an agreement, etc.) to stop or finish, often by accident (लापरवाही).
In Hindi:- अंतराल, चूक, भूल गलती (n) बीत जाना, समाप्त होना, गलती करना (v).
Synonyms:- Interval, gap, space, delay, break, etc.
Antonyms:- continuity, consistent, persist, etc.
Example:- I met her after a lapse of ten years.
1. Afflict:- (अ'फ़्लिक्ट्) Verb.
In English:- To cause somebody/something pain, sadness, etc, if something afflicts someone it means it causes you a trouble; affect adversely.
In Hindi:- सताना, पीड़ित करना, दुख देना.
Synonyms:- Bother, trouble, miserable, distress, etc.
Antonyms:- comfort, soothe etc.
Example:- My friend is being afflicted by a disease.

Antonyms:- insignificant, small, etc.
Example:- I found her kindness quite overwhelming.
In English:- if something is overwhelming, it affects you very strongly, and you don't know how to deal with it.

Synonyms:- esteem, status, cachet, regard, qualitative etc.
Antonyms:- disrespect, insignificance, etc.
